This institute was founded in 1968 and is located in Yangzhou city, a famous city with a long history and ancient culture. The institute is mainly engaged in the development and production of electronic engineering systems and equipments. It keeps abreast of the advanced technology of the world and has finished development and production of the systems and equipments for many state  major projects. More than 130 achievements 

gained the national and ministry awards. The institute has developed many kinds of products for export. It has made contributions to national modernization and gained honour for China ships moving to the world. It has won the title of Civilized Unit of Jiangsu Province four times.
    The institute has more than 20 departments, such as research departments, test laboratory, production workshop, development company, engineering department and quality assurance department. It has an electrical and electronic equipment environment and reliability test center certified by the State Technical Supervision Bureau and the State Ship Inspection Bureau, and has a large broad band microwave darkroom, electronic measuring and test station. The institute has passed GJB/Z9001 quality system certification.
